Why we dont use iCloud backup or sync
To help allow friends and family to share plans, we need to use our databases to allow this functionality. Cross platforms like web and Android (in the future) will be a big part of Outside which is another reason for us not to use iCloud backups. As a new user without an account, your plans are saved to your device, and if you have an account, they are saved to the cloud and your account. We use the best authentication, and industry-accepted best practices to protect user data.
